THE HISTORY OF
Becws Môn Bakery was established in September 2016 by Managing Director Richard Lewis, beginning its journey in the Gaerwen Industrial Estate. Initially focused on serving the local community, the bakery quickly gained a reputation for delivering fresh, high-quality products to customers around Anglesey and Bangor.

In September 2021, recognising the growing demand and expanding product lines, Becws Môn Bakery made a strategic decision to split its operations. The original facility in Gaerwen became dedicated to producing breads, baps, and pies, while a new bakery opened in Llangefni, specializing in cakes and hosting a vibrant sandwich bar. This split allowed both locations to focus on their core competencies, enhancing product quality and customer satisfaction.
As the business continued to flourish, Becws Môn Bakery expanded once again. In September 2024, we acquired a third building adjacent to our Gaerwen facility, which now serves as our packing and dispatch centre. This new space streamlines our distribution process, facilitating efficient delivery of our products to a broader customer base.
SEPTEMBER 2024
In 2016, We primarily delivered within Anglesey and Bangor.
By 2019, our delivery routes extended to Caernarfon.
In 2022, we began reaching customers in Pwllheli, located in Gwynedd.
In 2023, our delivery service expanded to Conwy.
As of 2024, we are proud to include Denbigh in our delivery area, with aspirations to continue growing and extending our service reach.
